SIN x HKG (2013)
This research aims to draw connections between the cultural, economical and political affairs of Singapore and Hong Kong. Noting how these two postcolonial states are often compared, the artist is interested in the (dis)similar issues and affairs that both cities face, such as, immigration, postcolonial identity Through collecting data during the stay, valuable information have been compiled. SIN x HKG seeks to suggest or provoke possible futures for Singapore by using Hong Kong’s current affairs as a reference point.
